  • DrGupta
    Dr. Sunil Gupta
    Owner / Veterinarian

Dr. Sunil Gupta was born in Ithaca, New York, but relocated to India with his family when he was only two years old. There, his parents encouraged him to attend veterinary school—Dr. Gupta has been enjoying the world of animal care ever since. He’s now been caring for pet patients for more than 34 years!

Dr. Gupta graduated from veterinary school in 1984, then launched his career in private practice. He worked under other veterinarians at a number of clinics for 15 years before deciding to open his very own practice—that’s when Aboite Animal Clinic was born!

Aside from his passions within veterinary medicine, Dr. Gupta likes practicing his photography skills, playing and watching sports—he represented his university’s table tennis team four times during college, and now enjoys golfing—and spending time with his family at home. Dr. Gupta has two children, a son and a daughter, and also shares his home with three dogs: Linus, a Maltese who gets his name from Dr. Gupta’s first name spelled backward; a rescued Bichon named Oscar; and Lillie the Maltipoo.

Megan was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she attended Homestead Senior High School. She served at her one and only active-duty station for four years in Colorado at the Fort Carson Veterinary Treatment Facility, Fort Carson. Madison

Madison was born & raised here in Fort Wayne, IN.  She graduated from Carroll high school on the north side of town back in 2015. She never exactly knew what she wanted to do as a career, but her passion has always been serving people. Hostessing in restaurants is what she started out doing until she was of age to start waitressing. She had done that for many years. In between she also took classes to get certified to be a nursing aide. She has traveled to Missouri, Kansas, Florida, & Ohio to do work in nursing homes. She had felt that was going to be my calling, but shortly after she went back to waitressing for a couple of more years, until about two years ago when she had spoken with Aboite after bringing her baby boy to get neutered!  Madison always had animals growing up, from cats to dogs & even hamsters. Animals are her real passion.  She’s been taking my pets to Dr. Gupta for the past 6 years now. Dr. Gupta finally reached out his branch & brought her on board. She’s learned everything she knows in vet med because of him! He is a fixer upper when it comes to our loving pets. It’s been a great pleasure learning & growing more with this family!
